What participants have shared with us
Katherine M.
Expat family, Bangkok
"We had boxes of documents going back years, and no idea where anything was. The session gave us a system that actually made sense for how we live. Took about two and a half hours and we left with everything sorted. Worth every baht."

Arthit P.
Bangkok, Khlong Toei
"My wife and I did the communication workshop when things between us were getting difficult. I was not expecting much, honestly. But the frameworks they gave us were practical β not therapy-speak, just clear ways of saying what we each needed. We still use the guide."
Co-Communication Workshop Β· June 2025
Siriporn R.
Community centre manager
"We brought the Group Programme into our centre and ran it for 18 families over two days. The facilitator resource pack was very well prepared β our staff were able to deliver it confidently after a single orientation call with Hearthlink. The families responded well."

Laura T.
British expat, Sukhumvit
"Booking was simple and the intake conversation was quick and painless. The session itself was calm β I appreciated that there was no pressure and no upselling to other services. The folder system they helped me build has made a real difference day-to-day."

Nattakorn C.
Bangkok, Phrom Phong
"My sister and I had stopped being able to talk about anything related to our parents' estate without it turning into an argument. The workshop did not fix everything, but it gave us a way to slow down and actually hear each other. That matters."

Paul H.
Australian expat, Bangkok
"I moved to Bangkok two years ago and had never properly sorted my documents across two countries. The session was practical, thorough, and not at all overwhelming. The facilitator was clear about what she could and could not help with, which I respected."

In More Depth
A closer look at three experiences
Challenge
An expat couple moving between Bangkok and Singapore had documents scattered across two apartments, three languages, and four years of filing. They were preparing for a major household move and could not locate half of what they needed.
What We Did
A Family Records Organisation Session lasting just over three hours. We worked through every document category together, creating a bilingual labelling system tailored to their cross-border situation.
Outcome
A complete, labelled folder structure ready before the move. The couple reported finding their key documents within seconds when needed, rather than searching for thirty minutes. Timeline: single three-hour session.
"We had no idea how much mental energy those scattered files were costing us until they were gone." β K & D, Bangkok expats
Challenge
Three adult siblings managing shared responsibilities for an elderly parent could not agree on how decisions should be communicated. Conversations regularly ended without resolution and sometimes without speaking. One sibling was overseas.
What We Did
A Co-Communication Workshop attended by two of the three siblings in person, with the third joining remotely. We worked through general frameworks for shared decision communication and practised several specific scenarios together.
Outcome
The siblings left with a shared vocabulary for discussing responsibilities and a take-home guide each. Follow-up email confirmed they had used one of the frameworks in a subsequent family call. Workshop duration: 3.5 hours.
"Having the same words to describe what we each needed was more useful than I expected." β N.C., workshop participant
Challenge
A community centre serving expat families in central Bangkok wanted to offer a structured family administration programme to members but did not have the capacity to develop content in-house.
What We Did
Delivered the Group Programme package: facilitator resource pack, session outlines for both the records session and the communication workshop, a delivery plan, and a two-hour orientation call with the centre's programme lead.
Outcome
The centre ran the combined programme for 18 families across two Saturdays. 94% of participants rated it useful or very useful. The centre has since scheduled a second run for new members. Total setup time: under one week.
"The resource pack was well-structured. Our team could follow it without needing any specialist background." β S.R., community centre manager
